Howdy all!

As you may know, I am taking a break from volunteering for BARCS, as such, as of April 1st I stepped down from being the lead at PETCO. It has been a wonderful experience and I am truly in love with each and every kit kat that found a home while at PETCO. I cannot express my gratitude for the volunteers at PETCO – you are the BEST! You made my role as lead easy – and always care for the kitties with such attention and love – THANK YOU! The staff at PETCO is simply AWESOME as well – so supportive of our adoption process and attentive to the needs of the kitties as well. You are all wonderful – and I have to give a special shout out to Dale Davis – YOU ARE THE BEST! Thank you for everything!

Tracy Bossle is now the lead for PETCO and is simply a wonderful person …I know the PETCO legacy of great volunteers, maintaining an awesome relationship with PETCO staff, and finding the kitties caring and loving homes will continue in Tracy's competent hands.

PETCO Update

March 16, 2014

Hi all, We have had two senior kitties go home over this past two weeks – which is absolutely fantastic. AND – there is an APP for Mamacita – so paws crossed that this sweet girl goes home this week! Please welcome Veronica Lopez to the PETCO crew! Veronica will be covering the Sunday PM shift beginning March 23rd…we are surely happy to have her on board 🙂 The Tour for Life event is still scheduled for Sunday the 23rd, however we do not have many foster signed up for the event …. please consider signing up and bringing your foster cat to this event!

March 3, 2014

Happy Snow Day! We had a slow week as there were no adoptions. But with the sweet kitties we have at PETCO, I am sure they will all find homes in no time! Pie 21 (Pumpkin) joined the PETCO kitties last night…and Patrick will be ready to come back this week too! Our next adoption event is the "Tour of Life" on March 23rd – a SUNDAY. Pumpkin is from a hoarding situation and is one of two Pies left – the other Pie is at BARCS. She is a very sweet cat and very easy to handle and hold.

Howdy all! I was so caught up with House of Cards and Downton Abbey I completely forgot about our weekly update! We have been steady with the adoptions – and two of our kitties are temporarily returning to foster (Patrick and Claudia) – they will be back in no time. Our next adoption event is the "Tour of Life" on March 23rd – a SUNDAY. Stay tuned for details!

PETCO Update

February 16, 2014

Hi all! We had another great week at PETCO! Bourbon and Lucky went home early in the week and Shelly and Cooper went home together on Saturday. We had a total of 10 adoptions during our "Find True Love – ADOPT!" event on Saturday – including CRYSTAL!!! For our event in March we will be joining forces with the "Force of Life" campaign/event. It will take place on Sunday, March 23rd. Stay tuned for details!

Claudia and Chloe are "one and only" kinda gals – they will do best in a home where they are the only cat or possibly one other cat (with slow introductions). Sirius is a lover and will do great in a home with other cats!

PETCO Update

Hi all! We had a super week at PETCO … can't seem to keep kitties at PETCO this week! Leonardo, Mee Mee, the Georgettes', and Runway all found their homes this week…and Bourbon will be going home tomorrow night! We may have empty condos for a night…unless I hear from some fosters real soon 🙂

Our adoption event is coming up next weekend "Find True Love – ADOPT!" I have a feeling it is going to be super busy!

Petco Update

February 2, 2014

Howdy! We had a couple of adoptions this week – and said farewell and we wish you the best life ever to our buddy Arizona! Petco is donating Science Diet for the Petco kitties and right now we do not have room to store all of the bags. We should have another storage container soon so please be patient with the space situation in the back.

Shawn and Stacy decorated the condos for Valentines day! They are gorgeous! Thank you Shawn and Stacy! Our next adoption event will be on February 15th and the theme is "Find True Love! Adopt!

It has been another quiet week at PETCO- although Edgar went home! Great news indeed! It looks like two 7 month old kitties will be joining us Monday night: Aristocrat 3 & 4. They are a bit shy and I am certain they will come out of their shell while at PETCO. These boys are also being fostered by Rebecca Fabyan (who fostered our pretty Mee Mee as well). Our next adoption event will be on February 15th and the theme is "Find True Love! Adopt!
